How it’s made
Environmentally friendly and sustainable, our new plant-based tubes are crafted of material re-claimed from farm byproducts in Taiwan which otherwise would have been burned. The tubes look, feel and function just like a traditional plastic lip balm tube. They contain zero plastic elements, heavy metals, or polymers, including BPA and phthalates.

Plant Pod aligns with Eco Lips’ continued push for sustainable solutions – and we didn’t stop there. Our labels are also plastic-free. Made of wood-pulp fibers, these labels do not contain plastic and are eco-friendly.
With the absence of plastic and fossil fuel-based ingredients, we are effectively reducing our carbon footprint and decreasing the production and disposal of plastic. Additionally, because the plants absorb CO2 during their lifespan before harvest, they reduce Greenhouse Gases or CO2 further. The decision not only aligns with our values as a company but satisfies the ever-growing demand for environmentally conscious products.
