Lori Reichel is a fun and innovative health educator with over 30 years of teaching experience. The recipient of National and New York Health Education awards, her mission is to strengthen the wellness habits of young people and to help adults raise healthy children and youth. Due to her strong skill-set of relating with children and their caregivers, Lori created a variety of family friendly tools that increase the effectiveness of communication about puberty and adolescence, as well as other sexuality topics. Lori also co-authored the book Tools for Teaching Comprehensive Human Sexuality Education: Lessons, Activities, and Teaching Strategies Utilizing the National Sexuality Education Standards for health education teachers. Within her teaching career, Lori is currently preparing future health education teachers at SUNY Cortland. In addition, she consults with health education teachers and schools to ensure age- and developmentally appropriate information is taught and is an expert in teaching how to teach skill development in the classroom.
