Crystal Anthony, M.Ed.

Educator, Coach, Professional Athlete

Crystal Anthony grew up in Massachusetts, the oldest of 7 siblings. Adventuring with her siblings on bikes and hikes, she developed a love of exploring and pushing herself to be the best athlete she could be. She studied kinesiology in college, then decided to travel the world and spent two years living in Honduras teaching at an international school and learning Spanish. Although she loved teaching, she felt there was a lot she could learn about how to be a better teacher, so she went on to get her Masters in Education in human development and psychology at Harvard. After this, she spent over a decade teaching middle school Spanish and French while also competing as a pro cyclist in cyclocross and mountain biking. In 2017, she decided to turn her “teaching” attention to other athletes so that she could share all that she had learned about training, racing, and nutrition with others, to help them chase their athletic goals. She started her own coaching business, Crystal Anthony Coaching, and currently works with clients of all ages training for multiple disciplines in cycling and in running. As an athlete, she has represented the U.S. three times at the Cyclocross World Championships, won 21 UCI races, finished on the podium twice at Marathon Mountain Bike National Championships, and currently races gravel, mountain bike, and cyclocross for the Liv Racing Collective. She lives in Bentonville, AR and when she’s not out pedaling you can find her baking or cooking healthy recipes!
