Kinette Richards, Ph.D., NCC

Dr. Kinette Richards, Ph.D., NCC, is the owner and operator of Creating Space Equity Consulting, LLC, a diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging LLC. She is an award-winning mental health professional and EDI practitioner, advocating for marginalized communities and equitable spaces. Dr. Richards holds a master’s degree in counseling psychology from the University of Colorado, Denver. She also holds a doctorate in school psychology from the University of Denver, where she is an adjunct professor teaching graduate courses in the College of Education. She earned a certificate in leading diversity, equity, and inclusion, from Northwestern University, and a certificate in leadership from U.C. Davis. In addition to Creating Space Equity Consulting, LLC, Dr. Richards is a co-founder and vice chair of Social Justice Connect (SJConnect), a nonprofit organization which has developed a website for social justice events.
