Holly Alperin, Ed.M., MCHES, is the program coordinator & clinical assistant professor in the health and physical education program at the University of New Hampshire working to prepare future health and physical education teachers. She is also a partner in Lighthouse Wellness & Health Education Consulting. Prior to this, she spent 16 years with the MA Department of Elementary & Secondary Education doing all things school health. Her work to provide and improve health and health education has taken her to schools and communities locally, nationally, and internationally. She is a trainer for Mental Health First Aid, a certified yoga teacher, a certified equity literacy facilitator, and former Girls on the Run coach. She is a co-author of four books along with other published articles and has conducted numerous health education presentations. Ms. Alperin is originally from Michigan and graduated from Central Michigan University with a B.S. in health education/health promotion and received an Ed.M. from Boston University.
